Feed bins and feed types
Is AgFlo for producers or feed mills?
AgFlo serves both. Producers can monitor their feed inventory and consumption, while feed mills and integrators can track inventory across their network to anticipate replenishment needs.
Which feed bins and feed types is AgFlo compatible with?
AgFlo works with all feed types and feed bins with an opening in the upper section, either at the top or on the upper cone. The distance between the sensor and the bottom of the bin can be up to 10 metres.
Installation and connectivity
Who installs AgFlo sensors?
You can install the sensors yourself using our installation guide and video, or have them installed by a partner of your choice. If you prefer, we can help you find an installer.
Where is the sensor installed?
An ultrasonic sensor is installed inside each bin, suspended from the edge of the opening. The AgFlo app guides you through installation and setup.
Does installation require wiring or bin modifications?
The sensor runs on AA batteries. Installation requires no wiring or bin modifications and takes less than 15 minutes per bin.
Do I need Wi-Fi or an on-site gateway?
No. The sensor sends its readings directly to the AgFlo platform over the LTE-M cellular network. No Wi-Fi or on-site gateway is needed.
Can AgFlo work in my country?
AgFlo is designed for international deployment and has been tested in North America, Europe and Oceania. It uses LTE-M connectivity through multiple mobile network operators. Deployment depends on compatible network coverage and service availability in your country.
Platform, forecasts and integrations
How accurate is AgFlo?
In field testing, 99% of AgFlo readings differed by less than one metric tonne from industrial scale measurements. We continually improve the solution, including our analysis algorithms, to refine measurement accuracy.
What can I view in the platform?
The platform shows feed levels, consumption history and predicted empty dates. Its network view shows bin locations and helps prioritize replenishment needs.
Can AgFlo data be integrated with our ERP?
AgFlo already integrates with business software, including ERP systems. Contact our team to discuss integration with your tools and workflows.

Maintenance and support
How long do the batteries last?
The sensor uses standard lithium AA batteries and offers more than 2 years of battery life. Batteries are included with the sensor and can be replaced when needed.
Where can I find installation instructions or request help?
The Support page includes a user manual, an installation video and a form for technical questions. If your request concerns a specific bin, include its name or identifier.
